I LOVE seating charts!

Here is another seating chart I did for a couple last month. They had it displayed as guests walked into the reception and not only was it decorative and coordinated with the rest of their wedding, it was easy for their guests to see.

Beyond weddings

Designing invitations for birthdays, etc. are so much fun! I was looking through my files and found this one I had done last October and thought I should share it. Her daughter gave me this picture to use and it was perfect as she was holding an envelope in her hand which I converted to her favorite color red and used it to add some spice to the invite. I enjoy coming up with these poems that put all the details in rhyme. I used just a portion of the picture on the envelope so the recipient also has a surprise of their own and when I found the "Celebrate" stamp, it completed everything perfectly. Seating Charts for all occasions

Seating charts have always been a favorite of mine as an alternative to place cards. They are so decorative and make a wonderful keepsake long after the event has ended. Most venues have easels that can be used to display them and other options are available. Another one of the things I offer is putting the details of your event to rhyme. Here is a recent example. These are especially good for Milestone age birthday parties but can be done for any event. Creative Envelope Addressing

This is how I started out and it is still one of my favorite things to do. While I have made complete wedding invitation ensembles, most brides I have dealt with prefer thermograph invitations, where the ink is raised. The machines that do this process are very expensive. However, the same companies that do the thermograph invitations are unable to provide the personalized envelope addressing that I offer. Here are 2 examples of recent envelopes I have done that used the original invite fonts and ink colors.

A favorite wedding program

This bride from Chicago wrote me after attending a wedding of another client. She liked what I had done and asked me to come up with something unique for her. We incorporated the place card as part of the program so the guests did not have to fuss after the ceremony with finding their seats. The rice paper outer cover is semi-transparent allowing the bride and groom's name to show through. The inside explains the traditions of the Jewish wedding and I was even able to copy her ketubah and put their names with the Hebrew meaning inside the trees. She was so pleased and this remains one of my favorite wedding programs.

Bar and Bat Mitzvah Invitation Envelope Addressing

Since this is where it all began, I thought I would start by showing some of the envelopes I have addressed for Bar Mitzvahs. These are always so much fun as they seem to run the gamut of colors and designs. I am a fontaholic as it is and if the invitation contains a font that is not in my library of thousands, I will get it. Matching typestyles and colors are of utmost importance to me.
